“买着”（buying）is a process，“买到”is a status，u‘ve obtained the thing.We usually use “正在买”instead of saying“买着”
for example：I‘m buying a purse.（我正在买一个钱包。）U still don't have the proprietorship of the purse
“I have bought the purse（我（已经）买了这个钱包）The purse is urs now
