Someone else might be able to answer, but could you post a link to the video please, if possible? I tried to find it myself, but I can't seem to find it on the great british bakeoff's channel.

Hi! Are these auto-generated subtitles? If yes then this means absolutely nothing, because those subtitles are broken, it once really offended a friend of mine when those subtitles accidentally make a horrible comment about black people and homicide

i think i can answer that, it should be said like this "theyre in restaurants now, poor" with a comma, she says "poor" to the man as in feeling sorry for him, like when something bad happens to a man someone might say "poor guy" this is what she meant when saying it, she said those chocolate balls are noe served in restaurants, and added the "poor" at the end in a non offensive way
as for "youve spent too long in drive-thrus" a drive thru is a window in a fast food place like mcdonalds, where you order from your car, and the old lady said that as a joke that he hasn't been inside restaurants recently to realize chocolate balls are now being served in restaurants.
if you cant understand my explanation feel free to ask for clarification :)

Thank you,
I know the subtitles aren't very correct,
but I’m not good at listening to English still much ,
so watching the video while fixing the subtitles to watch "Bake off"

Thank you,Uh, that is...
He couldn't go to the restaurant lately (maybe because he was busy),
and…
Does the meaning of "poor" mean that the restaurant is not a high-class place to serve chocolate balls, or
she say sorry for that what he can't go to a restaurant because of his busy schedule?
Or
Is "chocolate balls are served in restaurants" "he didn't know it"the correct interpretation ?

Ah he probably didnt go to restaurants because he wasnt interested, thats why the joke from the old lady :)
as for the poor, not poor as in money, poor as in she is feeling sorry for the man, like "you havent been to restaurants lately? poor guy :(" like this :) poor as in feeling sorry.
if you still don't get it, don't hesitate to ask again :)
