I am not totally sure what you mean.
Do you mean....
I want to make sure I get up at 5 AM and don't dawdle in bed.
Or
If I get up at 5AM I won't waste time being in bed too long.

The reason I was confused is...you COULD wake up at 5AM AND THEN dawdle in bed for a while. (so these two things are not mutually exclusive)
I do this a lot. 😅

The only thing I notice is no T sound at the end of won't. But otherwise it's good. In this case it's similar to Korean last consonant: you don't need to articulate the T with an 'uh' sound afterwards, but you should still make the T sound. Do you understand?
My first example is exaggerated. The second is natural.
