1) cuddle - a LONG embrace// hug - short (usually a few seconds)
2) hug - mutual (both people have to hug together)// cuddle - doesn't have to be mutual (A can cuddle B without B cuddling back).
3) cuddle - shows intimacy so is almost always a romantic gesture
"cuddling in your arms" is correct, but "hugging in your arms" is wrong.
It should simply be "hug."
She hugged him. She cuddled in his arms.
She hugs him. She cuddles in his arms.
She will hug him. She will cuddle in his arms.

@bb63bfd8 A cuddle is definitely something you only do with people you're intimate with (parents, siblings, romantic partners), but you can hug ANYONE.
A hug is not exactly formal, but a cuddle is informal.
For example, students hug their teachers and principal on graduation day. However, the students wouldn't cuddle with them.
Hug: can be formal or informal
Cuddle: only informal

Cuddle - Usually, you only do this with your partner. When I think of cuddling, I think of someone hugging someone but like rubbing their head on their partner’s shoulder. And usually cuddling is longer (like you hold the pose for maybe 10 minutes plus depending on your partner)
Hugging - it’s usually a 5 sec action and it’s usually done with friends/family. You would not hug your boss (handshake) unless your boss is not that formal. For hugs, you usually let go and it can be used as a greeting (but depends on how comfortable people are, I have friends who don’t like hugs)

@methmi_pw Thank you.
If someone says to a loved one,
1. I sending you hug
2. I sending you a cuddle.
Which one is right?🤔

Are you talking about virtually? If so, "I AM sending you hugs/a hug/cuddles" is more common. You could also say, "I'm virtually cuddling you." But, that's a bit awkward.
If you're talking about chat language, you can use "*" and the action to indicate that you're "virtually" doing that action. This is done very frequently.

A: I swear I didn't hear your secret.
B: Are you sure? *looks at you suspiciously
A: Today was a really bad day. *sighs
B: I'm here if you want to vent. *hugs/*cuddles
