How good does this text seem written?
The film "The Fellowship of the Ring" tells of what happened during the wars for Middle Earth, and how the Ring of the power came to be. The white sorcerer Gandalf realizes that Bilbo has somehow got his paws on the magic Ring. From that moment on, he will instruct Frodo with the task of bringing it to the elves. There he should receive further instructions.

It’s pretty good. Grammatical correction: “has gotten”. Using “Instruct” and “task“ together is a little odd and unnatural. It would be either “he will instruct Frodo to bring it to the elves” or “He will give Frodo the task…”
