Question about English (US)

To be flexible means to be able to adapt to new conditions or situations. Someone who is flexible has no problem changing their plans when new ideas present themselves. So, flexible people are generally open to new ideas. This means that they are willing to listen and think about different ways to achieve something.

What do you think of this interpretation? Do you have anything to add? Do you know any synonyms/antonyms for “flexible and open to new ideas”? Do you know sentences in which the phrase “flexible and open to new ideas” can be used?
Thanks for your help!
