@Traveler87 immortalize is making something immortal which means forever. Since the moment he/she took can’t last forever he/she took a picture so he/she can look back at it whenever he/she wants. I hope I explained it well 😅

This sounds fine. To immortalize is to keep something alive forever. If you want to remember something forever, taking a photo or video is the way to do it!
But, don’t forget to enjoy the moment while you are in it!

@Traveler87 you’re very much welcome~ ! And it’s good to hear that you don’t bring your camera into every moment you experience, it’s shows you really enjoy life to the fullest. Most people film to show off

I compleatly agree with you. People are very narcissist. I couldn't go out with friends who spend most of their time with their cellphones. Communication always comes first for me!

@Traveler87 yes !!! It always ruins the moment when they bring out their cellphones to film every single thing, filming a couple of times isn’t a problem but getting your phone out of your pocket every second is annoying honestly, my friends and I went to turkey before Corona and since we had some phone addicts in our friend group we decided to leave our phones at home and buy Nokia’s in case there was an emergency we could contact each other and honestly......it was the best thing ever ! We got way closer and felt like we reflected on to some things 🙃

I have been in that situation. Some friends say that I am a little old fashioned because every time they use their cellphones the expression on my face changes, you know what? I don't care about what they think or say, this is the way I see life and if that makes me different well I am proud to be different.

@Traveler87 you may be old fashioned in their eyes but at least you’re enjoying life the way it should be enjoyed 😌 photo’s will stay in your gallery and eventually will be deleted, your phone could get broken or lost lol......then what are you gonna do after that... absolutely nothing, you just have it there or have it nowhere. Gladly we’re not brainwashed 🤣🦦
