How do you say this in English (US)? This is a homework i need to send in till 12am today and im really confused and doesnt know what to write there. Could you please help me with it? :,(

3. When he was asked how he felt about winning twice, Goodes said he was happy because his mum was proud of him.
4. Goodes became Australian of the Year at a ceremony which was held in Canberra in January 2015.
5. In a speech that was reported in most papers, Goodes spoke about his Aboriginal identity.
6. When he is criticized for his strong stand against racism, Goodes replies that speaking out is better than saying nothing.

It looks to me like these sentences are already formed with the past participle. Do you know exactly what you’re supposed to answer?

@Octilarry ohhh okay that makes sense, so the past participle clause for #1 would be:
The Sydney Swans are an ARF team, originally founded in the 19th century.
#2 would be
Won twice by Swans player Adam Goodes, the Brownlow Medal is an award given yearly to the fairest and best AFR player.
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain more, this is pretty advanced English grammar.
