“Back in Black” is a popular rock song and album by band AC/DC. It was AC/DC’s first album released after the death of AC/DC’s singer Bon Scott. So “Back”=the band’s return to music, “In Black”=black as a mourning color for Bon Scott’s death.
Even after this tragic death that could have destroyed AC/DC, the song “Back in Black” was very popular and successful. So the phrase “back in black” has developed a meaning of “back after a loss or absence, and even better now than I was before!”

From my understanding, I believe that the 'in black' phrase might be a reference to the popular rock band, AC/DC and their album 'Back in Black'! I hope this helps!

I don't really know the context. But if it has to do about finance, then it means the budget will be balanced. " In the black" could mean that it is not balanced. They are in the "red" (negative balance) but by Tuesday it would be balanced and "in black."
I could be wrong too. ?
