I just want to know about Van Helen.(I am not play the guitar though)
Is Eddy Van Helen still wellknown among American teenagers or twenties people?
In Japan,he is wellknown only over 40~50age. Because "Jump" hit around 35 years ago.
I think most of Japanese young people knew his name just right after his dead.

Although most of the younger generation aren't into that kind of music, most of them might at least recognize the name.
I play guitar, so for me he was one of my biggest inspirations. Their first album is a nearly perfect album in my opinion.
(Also, it's spelled Eddie Van Halen)
