Question about English (US)
"As you, we are late now!" = "because of you we're late now!"
Is it right? Or is there a specific way to use "as" as "because"??

The first sentence isn’t correct.
If you said something like “As you were too busy getting ready, we are late now!” Then it makes sense and has the same meaning. When using “as you” in this sentence, you need to add onto it, like I did above.
Hope this helps!

@liamuffinpie So, should I put a verb to make it clear, isn't it??
- English (US)
As you = same as you
"As you, we are late now!" ≠ "because of you we're late now!"
I don't that there is a way to use "as" to mean "because."

@Johnny_Cigarettes Not just a verb, but a complete statement.
For example:
“As you ran, we are late now!” Doesn’t really make sense.
For example, you may say:
“You slept in this morning.”
You can add “as” in front of that to make it:
“As you slept in this morning,”
Then just add the rest and it’s:
“As you slept in this morning, we are late now!”
I don’t know if that makes sense but hopefully it does :)
