I think it sounds better if you say “I’m going to cast a spell so that you will be healed soon”.
“Cast a spell on you” isn’t used often and sounds similar to “put a curse on you”, it’s hard to explain why but it doesn’t sound right to me.
But to answer your first question, you can definitely use “cast a spell” in a positive way!
