Either is typically used for positive things, and neither is used for negative ones. For example:
Adolfo: Which fruit do you want, the apple or the banana?
Camila: Either is fine! I like both of them.
Daisy: Neither! I want grapes instead.
When you use "neither" in a full sentence, you use "nor" later in the sentence in between the things you are talking about. (In contrast, when you use "either", you use "or".) For example:
Camila: I prefer either the apple or the banana.
Daisy: I prefer neither the apple nor the banana.
