“Folk” - means “people”, not used very frequently as it’s a little outdated. - pronounced more like ‘foke’ (like the soda ‘coke’)
Ex:
•“How are your folks?” - “how is your family?” (Your family is sometimes referred to as your people”
•”The good folks of Johnson City.” - “The good people of Johnson City.”
“Fuck” - means many things: to have sex with someone (verb), to hurt someone (verb), to ruin something or make a mistake (verb), as an angry or scared or surprised or happy or literally anything (interjection), and so many other reasons. It’s like how in Mexico, the word “orale” can mean a ton of things too lol (not saying they mean the same thing though). Pronounced how it’s spelled “fuck”
Ex:
•“I walked in on them fucking (having sex).”
•”If you slap me again, I will fuck you up!”
•*gets pulled over by a cop* friend:”haha you fucked up!”
•*stubs toe* “fuck!”
•*friend scare you* “ahh! Fuck!”
•*Ronaldo misses the winning penalty kick* “fuck!”
(‘The fuck’ being used as an enhancement)
•”what the fuck is that?” - what is that
•”who the fuck are you?” - who are you
... you get the point lol
