One states an action, the second is about the ownership of the object used.
I ride my bicycle. -Just says that you ride your bike.
I ride my own bike.- States ownership of the bike being ridden.
How do you get to town?- I ride my bike.
If Mika took his bike, how do you get to town?- I ride my own bike.

Yes it does. I, myself, would reply
"I usually ride my bike."
It already points out that it is your bike so theres no reason to say your own and stress the point of ownership.
or you could simply say
"I own a bike."
As a reply, people will understand that if you say you own a bike then you use it in your free time.

"I always ride my bike." is good. You could also say
"I ride my bike alot."
"I ride my bike all the time."
