Question about English (US)
"When I was 16 I went to a trip in London in a holiday group" I'm not sure if my sentence is grammatically correct, how can I change it ? I want to say that it was a trip with kids of my age, like a summer camp, but idk if the term "holiday group" is correct.

Holiday group might sound strange, more normal would be:
When I was 16 I went on a group trip to London with some friends?

"When I was 16, I went on vacation to London with a few kids my age."
Since you're learning US English, it would be vacation instead of holiday. Holiday is almost exclusively used in British English in this context.

@jessaminny actually I wanna say that I didn't know the other kids, so I was looking for a word that describes a trip with strangers :)

@alyeska1223 oh! Then:
When I was 16 I went on a group trip with strangers to London.
I don’t think there is a specific word for it, but I may just be forgetting it. Hopefully this still helps!
