"I was not big on classic music..." this is great! The other person changed it, but it's completely fine.
You can change "like it" to "fall in love with," like the other person said, but it just depends on how much you like classical music lol.
"a certain anime" and "one anime" are both fine; neither one is more natural than the other.
Your original sentence is totally natural. You can think of the other person's corrections as suggestions/alternative ways to say something you have already said perfectly ^^
