How do you say this in German? If I want to say that sth will be ready in a few minutes should passive be used?
Something like " Es wird in 10 min fertig gemacht"
Or should I say "Es ist in 10 min fertig"?

"Es ist in 10 min fertig" sounds better.
If u use " Es wird in 10 min fertig gemacht" it feels like I send somebody else to do it.
