Question about English (US)
What does He is sitting in an armchair resting. He is tired because he has been working very hard. mean?
What does He is sitting in an armchair resting. He is tired because he has been working very hard. mean?
Can I use present perfect or past simple instead of present perfect continuous in this example? like "worked" or "has worked" becaus the activity has been finished (he is sitting now). When I use "has been working" I think the activity is still happening and hasn't been finished. I'm a bit confused about it 🙆♀️

I’ll be honest and tell you I don’t remember the grammar terms you are mentioning, but the sentence you wrote makes sense. “Has been working” means the activity is finished. “Has been” implies that it is finished now.
