“who’s your favorite artist?” is more natural

@kokorokiara in common conversations, most people would say “who’s your favorite singer?”. “Artist” is a more formal, respectful, and general term.

“Who’s your favorite music artist?” - I personally think of DJ and producers more, people who do more than just vocals.
“Who’s your favorite singer?” is fine for just singing artists.
“Music artist” is just a more popular term now.
