I really need to study a lot more, but I couldn't yesterday nor the day before.
過去の事ですから、過去形の"could not" ("couldn't ") を使います。
そして〜ないも〜ないの場合は"nor"を使います。
例文:
I don't like to eat fish nor vegetables.
I did not go to the library nor the supermarket.
Neither John nor I agreed to that
