Letzt only exists in phrases like Zu guter Letzt or zuletzt. It’s not an adjective. Leztere does also not exist, but letztere. It’s the feminine form of letzter. Letzter can be a noun (der/die Letzte - the last one) or an adjective (das letzte Tier - the last animal).
