What does お互い素直になれない感じの恋のうたなんだけど mean?
What does お互い素直になれない感じの恋のうたなんだけど mean?
I'm trying to read a doujin I bought, and so far I've been able to translate it but this sentence is messing me up. From what I can put together it means something like "In this love song we don't feel like we can be honest with each other, not." But that really doesn't make a lot of sense. The negatives are really confusing me here haha. Any help is appreciated!

Actually your interpretation is quite accurate.
They both liked each other, but yet they couldn't express their feelings so straight, or honestly.

@kiriman thank you! The main thing confusing me was both "なれない" and "なんだけど"
I was just making a silly mistake (^_^) I forgot ""なんだけど" " translated into "Although, or but" and was instead trying to translate "な" as the particle "don't" and "けど" as "but"

なんだけど＝そうなのであるけれど＝そうなのである＋けれど。
そうである/そうなのである＝this is so/like so。
そうである＝nomal。
そうなのである＝including some stress。
けれど＝but。

お互い can't be 素直, this 歌 is (explaining/feeling) like that/so, but･･････。
