Oh and by the way if you want me to give you advice, you should stop smoking. You look older than you actually are.
You could either say “advice” or “a piece of advice”

@meesk
1)why not AN advice.
2)why (if you want me instead of you want me) I think I need to add just (DO) but saying (if you want me) doesn't make the sentence more natural that's just another option.

1) When “advice” is used alone, it’s uncountable. You can’t have one or multiple “advice”.
2) Without the if “you want me to give you advice” would be a question since it guesses at what the other person wants

@meesk that's tricky why I can't have one or multiple advices . I don't get it or what was ur point when u said accountable
- English (US)
It is a concept, so there is no number associated with it. Some other examples would be water or sand. You wouldn’t say 3 sands, it would be 3 grains of sand. Advice is the same way where it needs other words to qualify it if you want to associate it with a number. “An” or “a” always refers to 1 of something which is why it doesn’t go with advice.

There are many phrases that go along with advice like “a piece of” or ”a bit of” that you could use.

@meesk but with AN sounds like one is because I'm confused when u said that I can't have one or multiple advice

You can’t have one or multiple advice when the word is used by itself, but you can when it is used with other words. I’m sorry that I’m not explaining it well enough. Here’s an article that talks about it that might be helpful?
