Question about English (US)
I understand what the word "deploy" means, but I was wondering about the usage of the word with 'air bag".
"The car was found in the embankment with airbag deployed"
Maybe...in a sense thwt air bag is organized or positioned to be used just like troops? Or, the car was equipped woth airbag???

Sometimes the word deploy can mean that something is being used. So in the sense of an airbag, if someone says that the airbag was deployed it means that it inflated and used. It is no longer within the steering wheel, dashboard, or wherever else the car has them.
