1. It’s been more than a year since I last met with them (due to COVID-19/due to the COVID-19 pandemic/due to coronavirus).
2. I haven’t seen them in more than a year (due to COVID-19/due to the COVID-19 pandemic/due to coronavirus).
In English, we don’t say “corona pandemic” so I changed it to what we would call it (but I think COVID-19 is more common now since it’s specific)
