Question about English (US)
A. Before Jim went away to college, we'd fight sometimes, but there was no one I admired or wanted to impress more. I know it sounds pathetic, but somehow my life doesn't seem completely real without Jim to share in it.
Q1) Is this part "without Jim to share in it" correct English?
Q2) Does "to share in it" describe "Jim" ?
Q3) What does "without Jim to share in it" mean?
Would you answer three questions one by one?
I really want to know

Q1: No. I believe the correct way to say it would be "..my life doesn't seem completely real without Jim to share it with." or "..my life doesn't seem completely real without Jim in it."
Q2: It describes sharing life with Jim, but does not describe Jim directly!
Q3: The sentence is trying to say that life doesn't feel real without Jim- that ever since Jim left for college life is not the same.

@KoreanK Nope! The "it" refers to life, and the sentence describes having Jim in this persons life, but does not describe Jim directly. :)
