Vivo en la misma calle.
Basically it just means they live further along the same street that you live on.

It means "I live nearby on this same street."

Almost every time they say “I live down the street”, it means the same street.
Otherwise they would say “I live in the area.” Or “I live around the corner” and that can mean living nearby.
