Question about English (US)
could you please paraphrase this and make it shorter ??
On the British Aristocracy: landlords had no problem of adjustment to the I.R .Because they had very early adapted themselves to the business world. They were very little affected by industrialization. They benefited in material terms because their wealth increased with the demand for agricultural products and the development of mines and railways which were situated on their property. Socially they were predominant politically their power remained complete until 1832.

Socially they were predominant politically their power remained complete until 1832. - dont understand this part. i might get it wrong haha but if you can use this as well if it fits "They had maintained their political power until 1832. "

Also this:
Landlords were less affected by industrialization because they had easily adjusted to the business world. They benefited greatly as demands for agricultural products, development of mines and railways were situated on their property. Eventually, they had maintained their political power until 1832.
