Are you asking about a compound word called "work-class"? I don't understand this.
Work is uncountable.
"How much work do you have today?"
"I have a lot of work to do."
Class - if you are talking about what you attend in school, it is countable.
"I only have 5 classes this week."
"Many of my classes have been cancelled."
If you are talking about categories or social classes, it is countable.
"There are many classes of flowers."
"The few upper classes of society look down on the many lower classes."
If you are talking about sophistication or ability, it is uncountable.
"Thomas showed a lot of class when he debated his opponents."
"Whoever decorated this room has a lot of class."
