I want to know difference how to use “eat” and “have”.

I’ll eat a hamburger for lunch.
I’ll have a hamburger for lunch.

Two sentences above are almost the same mean but l heard “I’ll eat..” is old phrase and “I’ll have..” is natural phrase.

Is that true? If that’s true, is using “have” better?
