It doesn’t make sense to say “good shoot.”
Examples of acceptable sentences:
“That was a good shot.”
“You won’t make any points if you don’t take a shot.”
“You aren’t shooting at the target.”
“ The best way to make a shot is to practice shooting.”

"Sure thing" is like saying "no problem" in this context.
They are both substitutes for saying "you're welcome"
Does that make sense? You could respond by saying "sure thing" which in this new context is like saying "certainly" or "of course"
