How do you say this in English (US)? What is the difference between "it" and "this".For instance,can i say:" This is my work" if i want to pick out that this is mine or i should say "It is my work"?

@TheRouxe There’s really no difference. This sounds a little better as a sentence by itself. For example, if you are working on a project and someone sets their coffee on it, you might say, “Hey, move your coffee. This is my work.” If someone asks if you like what you do, you might say, it’s my work.
