Do you mean that you had to stand up to the other manager. You had to say no to the manager because you did not have the authority to do what the manager wanted you to do?

@abzalon Yes. That’s what I meant. That manager tried to force me to do things that I didn’t have the authority and I had to say no.

@pikarin You can change "so that I had to stand for myself" to "so I had to stand up to the manager and refuse" :)
