How do you say this in English (US)?
a) I got covid because I didn't wear a mask.
b) I got covid for not wearing a mask
c) I hate you because you are mean to me.
d) I hate you for being mean to me.

Hi, I'd like to know if I can use "for" that way in order to avoid using "because" all the time.

e) I'm leaving you because I found another love.
f) I'm leaving you for I found another love.
