Does this sound natural? :)

In my opinion, we could say that this is the story about two women who are still trying to cope with grief and all the traumatic memories of the terrible experiences they had to go through during the years of the Korean War (1950-1953). The protagonist by getting married and raising and caring for her children, and her mother through raising and caring for her grandchildren and trusting in Buddha. However, seems like the path the protagonist chose to cope with those traumatic memories is only making her feel more miserable. It looks like even though she loves her children, she’s unhappy and feels kind of trapped in her marriage. That’s probably why she enjoys so much going to her friend’s farm and drinking wine. Drinking not only helps her drown her sorrow, but also allows her to get away from reality for at least a brief moment.
