In Canada, is there something like political contributions by large corporations in the US?

No, as companies can not make contributions to political parties or candidates in Canada, only individuals that are citizens or permenant residents can. Even so, there is a limit to the contributions one can make. That being said, lobbying is still very relevant here.

@moonglasses yea because they are receiving gifts
But they don’t make policies because of the gifts
So they say
They will say it’s just a gift. From friend to friend. But getting gifts is a way to make time for them to be heard
I’m sure it’s not as bad as America but it happens.
