How do you say this in English (US)? When your friends or family are doing something, is there more polite or more friendly way to say "what are you doing?" ?

友達や家族が何か楽しそうな事をしている時に、
what are you doing?
よりも丁寧な言い方や、フレンドリーな言い方はありますか?

(what are you doingは警官が犯罪者に言っている様なイメージがあります。)
