Question about English (US)

What would be the most natural option?

I know that "to meow" is intransitive, therefore I can't say "She meowed my name", although it would be perfectly fine in Italian. What would be the most concise way to describe a person's tone of voice as similar to a cat's one in this case? I need to keep the reference to the cat and the action of calling someone seductively.
