first, I think the sentences are a little awkward
here are some examples.
If your side effects have not subsided (gone away) after a few days, please call a doctor.
This would be said to you when leaving the doctors office, or after you have received a vaccine or something.
Your side effects do not seen to be going away, maybe you should call a doctor.
This would be said to you if (example) your friend notices you still seem sick and is worried about you
I can help more if this still doesn't make sense
