I read an online news article about a young Japanese skateboarder who said in an interview that Americans understand about skateboarders and if you bump into them, they forgive you.

I think it’s rude to bump into people. Most people do not like being bumped into, lol. In some cases (like karens) they will call the police on you for skating on the prohibited sidewalk. But if you don’t bump into anyone then they will probably not care that you’re skating

@ohkei_ Thank you for your reply. Even though skateboarding has become one of the Olympic sports, it seems that there is no getting rid of the image that skateboarders are insane and annoying because some of them think like that.
