this sounds great, it's polite and won't offend the receiver as long as you don't put a hostile tone behind it. although you could replace we are with we're to be a little less awkward.

We would appreciate it.” Your original sentence is grammatically correct and I don’t think many people would be offended by it, but phrasing it as a question would be considered more polite and standard in American society.
