Question about Japanese

I'm learning about "補助動詞" in japanese, and there's some questions for me.
補助動詞「て」+補助動詞「いる」=補助動詞「ている」, is it correct?
I'm sure that「いる」is "補助動詞", but I'm not sure that if 「て」and「ている」are both "補助動詞" too.
