It would be "My skin is cracking"
"cracking up" is a slang term meaning;
1. to make someone laugh really hard.
2. to suffer a mental (emotional) break down.

1. To laugh really hard:
Did you hear that? He has everyone in the room cracking up!
Everyone cracked up at John's joke.
My brother is so funny, he's such a crack up.
(When I laugh at my own jokes I will say "I crack myself up!" 😂)
2. To suffer mental breakdown:
The pressure of life caused him to crack up.
Some people can't cope with the death of a loved one, and simply crack up.
"You're clearly having some kind of a crack up, so I suggest you take three weeks off."
(I don't really use the 2nd way myself so I googled a few sentences.)
