To my native ear they sound like more syllables than necessary. It’s probably just me. 😄

Sometimes there’s not a reason why we use one thing over the other. While your suggestions are grammatically correct, they don’t sound natural. When we talk about 15 minutes, we usually just say a quarter.

@TheChUlisesLopz A lot of it is personal preference. What sounds good to one person may sound unnatural to another. I imagine that’s true with every language.
