"would" refers to a hypothetical, while "will" refers to the future. "Who would make more money...in this hypothetical situation" vs "Who will make more money...in the situation we are currently in"

“Would” is an imaginary future that maybe doesn’t happen. So you actually don’t have to say “who do you think” and “will” is a certain future but when you add “who do you think” it makes it uncertain. In your examples they mean the same thing.
