usually, when you meet your same old friend or younger,
you can just call his name or use '너'.
but it would be very hard to realize how old is he. it's also hard to Korean^^;
I also make mistake many times ^^;
so, you can ask to him 'how can i call you?'
:)

I think when we're having a conversation we usually use 너 a lot instead of their names you can use their names but I think we barely say their names more than English
