What is the difference between irritate and irk ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.

@choi_summer There isn't really a difference between the words at all aside from irritate having more definitions, and them being used a little different. Irk is used to describe when someone is being annoyed, but irritate is to annoy, as well as used to describe some medical terms.
Examples:
"It was irritating to be around him,"
("It was annoying to be around him,")
"She was irritating them,"
("She was annoying them,)
"It irks her to be around him,"
("It annoys her to be around him,"
There's also stuff like:
"It irritated her skin,"
(Meaning it damaged/hurt her skin in some way)
