It is correct, but sounds British.
In the US we generally say "on vacation."

People would understand if you say "I'm supposed to be on holiday."
Saying "I'm supposed to be on vacation" would be better.

@OnClouds "I'm meant to be" is more common. "I mean to be" feels... a bit strange in a way I can't explain.

"I am meant for holiday" does not sound natural.

"meant for" means intended.
• These flowers are meant for my mom.
• Don't eat the cookies! They are meant for someone else.
• These books are meant for the kids in my class.
"I meant to be on vacation" doesn't quite sound natural to me. I would say "I'm supposed to be on vacation."
