I assume 4 is what you are intending to say.
4 means the panda species is your favorite type of animal. Another way to say this is "my favorite animals are pandas" or "pandas are my favorite animal."
3 means out of all animals, a specific panda is your favorite. For example, "my favorite animal is a panda named John."
1 and 2 are wrong.

@Spasznee Does that mean we also say “My favorite fruit is the apple.” or “My favorite food is the meat spaghetti.”?

@N-e-s-t-e-a These are technically right but these don't sound natural. I would say "Apples are my favorite fruit" or "My favorite fruits are apples" and "My favorite food is meat spaghetti" or "Meat spaghetti is my favorite food."

@Spasznee Thanks. I say the same thing all my life. It’s just that I’ve been asked by my Japanese friend and I have never really thought about it until now. I couldn’t give her a concrete explanation. 🙇♂️
